1. Responsible for the construction of key mother nuclei in the early stage of PCC, designing suitable synthesis routes, quickly completing the synthesis of key molecules in the pharmaceutical department, and cooperating with the pharmaceutical department to complete the design and synthesis of key intermediate/key compound routes
2. Optimize the process route of PCC-IND stage to avoid amplification risks, amplification effects, cost control, synthesis cycle and other related work, meet the production needs of GLP toxicology batches, cooperate with Lianyungang CMC team and pilot production team, complete GLP toxicology material preparation within the specified time, and complete project IND application
3. Responsible for collecting information on the synthesis route of PCC molecules, actively updating the synthesis work of relevant target drug molecules, and laying the foundation for the development of subsequent commercial routes
4. Responsible for the design, risk assessment, patent assessment, and cost assessment of new process routes in the later stages of IND, leading the team to quickly complete the integration, verification, and transfer of routes
5. Cooperate with the safety evaluation department and clinical department to complete the synthesis of isotope labeled compounds, clinical metabolites, etc
6. Improve laboratory platform construction, such as parallel screening platform, electrochemical reaction platform, photochemical reaction platform, enzyme catalysis platform, continuous flow chemical synthesis platform, etc., introduce new synthesis technologies, and budget procurement of large-scale laboratory equipment
7. Able to lead a team of 5-8 people, provide technical guidance to team members, enable them to complete target tasks according to requirements, regularly summarize team data, analyze problems, solve problems, propose next step work plans, and report work to superiors
8. Actively cooperate with department heads to complete department platform construction, process construction, as well as the creation and updating of relevant reporting templates, weekly poster templates, transfer file templates, etc., to improve the work efficiency and output of department members
9. Comply with the company's safety operation regulations and compliance requirements, and guide team members in safe and compliant operations to avoid safety accidents
10. Regularly provide technical training to team members, such as molecular reverse synthesis analysis, functional group conversion, QbD concept, commercial route development experience, etc., to enhance the overall technical capabilities of the technical development department
11. When team members encounter bottlenecks in a project, they are able to actively discuss and communicate with team members, analyze data, and propose solutions. They can personally conduct experiments to verify the feasibility of the plan and work together with team members to quickly solve problems and prevent project delays
As a technical development manager, one should have a strong sense of timeline, always adhere to the principle of on-time project delivery, actively maintain close contact with cooperating departments, share project information, report project progress and work plans at any time, and provide satisfactory technical output for other departments
13. Regularly meet with team members, set appropriate performance goals, track the completion of performance goals, ensure the completion of team members' goals, provide relevant guidance and training for low performing employees, and improve employee output; Pay attention to team building, improve team cohesion and work efficiency
14. Able to guide the management of 4-6 or more projects simultaneously, summarize data, develop plans, solve problems, and ensure the smooth delivery of projects
Job requirements:
1. Doctoral degree or above, major in organic chemistry, organic synthesis, medicinal chemistry, chemical engineering and technology, etc., especially excellent master's degree is also available
2. More than 5 years of relevant work experience in organic synthesis, drug synthesis, synthesis technology, etc. with a doctoral degree, and more than 10 years of experience with a master's degree
3. Experience in FTES, process research and development production, and factory project production experience is preferred
4. Proficient in the basic knowledge of organic chemistry, organic reaction mechanisms, and organic experimental operation processes, with relevant experience in process scaling up. Able to conduct reverse synthesis analysis, familiar with process optimization processes, with 5-20 person team management experience. Priority given to leading teams to achieve excellent results
5. Possess organizational and coordination skills, communication skills, execution skills, and interpersonal communication skills
6. Be down-to-earth, serious, rigorous, steady, proactive, have a strong sense of responsibility, and have the ability to withstand pressure
