Job Description:
Brief Introduction of Chen Wanze Laboratory:
The main research direction of the laboratory is to explore the mechanism of cell fate determination, including cell proliferation, differentiation, aging and death. The understanding of these mechanisms is critical to developmental biology and disease research. The laboratory's pioneering work, especially in live cell sequencing technology, has enabled single-cell transcriptome analysis while maintaining cell viability, which is currently a rare technical means to continuously observe single-cell transcriptome.
The laboratory's interdisciplinary research approach focuses on the development and application of new technologies, providing a unique perspective for the study and manipulation of cell fate, with potential implications for therapeutic strategies. Current research topics include:
1. Single-cell transcriptome-assisted cell fate programming and reprogramming: Uncovering the genetic and environmental factors that drive cell fate transitions.
2. High-throughput microenvironment promotes ex vivo expansion of hematopoietic stem cells: creating an artificial environment that supports large-scale ex vivo expansion of stem cells.
3. Microfluidic and high-throughput screening technologies for cell fate studies: development of new tools to precisely analyze and influence cell fate.
4. Large-scale single-cell transcriptome data analysis based on new technologies: mining the vast amount of unique data generated by innovative laboratory technologies to discover new biological insights.
