The characteristic of this laboratory is to focus on the original innovation of basic scientific principles, in order to establish a new generation of competitive nanotechnology. Related research involves fundamental cutting-edge fields such as chemistry, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, energy and power, materials science, electronic science, solid-state physics, optics, and thermodynamics. The topics involved include the relationship between the structure, properties, and functions of nanomaterials; The growth mechanism of materials at the nanoscale; Realize precise control of material structure and changes at the nanoscale, and explore new physical and chemical phenomena at the nanoscale

Application Requirements
1. Hold a doctoral or master's degree in physics, chemistry and chemical engineering, nanoscience and technology, electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, energy and power engineering, materials science and engineering, biology, medicine, or related fields
2. Possess a strong spirit of scientific research and innovation, the ability to independently conduct scientific research, and a good level of English proficiency

Salary and benefits
(1) Professor Series and Researcher Series
1. The laboratory selects important research objectives and projects based on the researchers' majors and research goals. The projects include basic research and applied research, and each researcher is equipped with at least one postdoctoral fellow and one doctoral student. Depending on performance, the number of postdoctoral and doctoral student positions can be flexibly increased
2. Provide each researcher with a research platform, support the purchase of valuable equipment required for the project, expenses for experimental materials, and research support for public engineers
3. Referring to the corresponding positions in the market, competitive agreement compensation will be provided to the selected candidates. For current applicants, a compensation package that is 30% or more higher than the applicant's current salary can be provided. Based on work performance and scientific research output, a generous incentive allowance will be given at the end of the year, with outstanding performance up to 6 months
4. Excellent candidates can apply for the Micro Nano Explorer Talent Program in the laboratory:
Associate senior and above teaching and research personnel: Annual salary of 600000-800000 yuan; Assistant level teaching and research personnel: Annual salary of 500000 to 600000 yuan
In addition, about 1.5 million yuan in research funding support can be provided, and large-scale research equipment can provide additional one-time procurement support of no more than 5 million yuan
Support after the second year will be re evaluated based on the research output and contribution of the first year
4. Contract term: The first term of employment is 3 years, and the second term is 3 years. Both can be renewed after evaluation. Those who have achieved excellent scientific research results can be awarded long-term employment after evaluation
5. Assist in applying for and settling in school talent apartments, assist in solving children's enrollment issues, and provide good security services
6. Those with outstanding conditions are recommended to apply for national awards, and other welfare benefits shall be implemented in accordance with national and Shanghai Jiao Tong University regulations
(2) Postdoctoral position
1. The comprehensive annual salary for postdoctoral positions is 240000-350000 yuan. If the selected candidates receive support from the "China Postdoctoral Innovation Talent Plan" or the "Shanghai Super Postdoctoral Incentive Plan" during the station period, their salary shall not be less than 350000 yuan/year during the implementation of the plan
2. Postdoctoral fellows can handle relevant household registration matters in accordance with the postdoctoral management policies of Shanghai Municipality and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and can enjoy postdoctoral apartments. If postdoctoral fellows work in Shanghai after leaving the station, their spouses and children can move and settle down with them
3. The laboratory has a comprehensive policy for postdoctoral fellows to stay on campus for development. Postdoctoral fellows who have achieved excellent research results and meet the requirements of the submitted teaching and research series can be recommended to stay on campus and obtain teaching track positions after evaluation
