1、 Introduction to the research group
Chen Xiangjun's research group of West Lake University is committed to studying the regulatory effect of mucosal tissue microenvironment on the differentiation and function of immune cells in a variety of infectious animal models using the multi-dimensional screening platform in vivo and single cell multi omics technology, providing new targets and new ideas for the development of therapeutic drugs for infectious diseases, inflammatory diseases and other diseases. The main research directions include (but are not limited to):
1. How do lymphocytes utilize environmental perception receptors to sense changes in the tissue microenvironment and initiate differentiation programs
2. The role and mechanism of metabolites in the organizational microenvironment and metabolic enzymes in lymphocytes in the resolution of inflammation and tissue repair
3. The role of cell communication between lymphocytes and neighboring cells in inflammatory response and tissue repair in the organizational microenvironment
4. The role and mechanism of organizational microenvironment perception in the production of long-lasting memory humoral immunity
Dr. Chen Xiangjun obtained his doctoral degree from the Institute of Immunology at Tsinghua University in 2018. From 2018 to 2023, he conducted postdoctoral research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Harvard Broad Institute/Massachusetts General Hospital. His main research work has been published in Science,? Nature Immunology,? Journal of Clinical Investigation,? Journals such as Nature Communications
