Focusing on the two strategic directions of sixth generation mobile communication and artificial intelligence, we aim to build a full stack software infrastructure for future 6G communication networks and businesses, including integrated sensing and computing of 6G networks, integration of air, space, and ground, and AI native technologies. We will also innovate and apply communication and vertical industry models, cognitive enhancement MaaS, and AI intelligent agents, conduct cutting-edge technology and product research and development, participate in national research projects and international standard setting, produce influential technological achievements, cultivate high-quality and industry university research integrated senior talents, and become the core experts of the company in this field

The training program is based on the Tsinghua University Intelligent Industry Research Institute (AIR) - AsiaInfo Technology 6G Network and Intelligent Computing Joint Research Center. The postdoctoral training is jointly carried out by the AsiaInfo Technology Postdoctoral Workstation and the Tsinghua University Intelligent Industry Research Postdoctoral Mobile Station, led by Dr. Ouyang Ye, Chief Technology Officer of AsiaInfo Technology and IEEE Fellow, and jointly guided by the Chief Researcher of Tsinghua University and the Chief Scientist of AsiaInfo Technology
Mentor PI Introduction:
Dr. Ouyang Ye, IEEE Fellow, Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President of AsiaInfo Technology. Dr. Ouyang Ye currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President of AsiaInfo Technology (HKG1675), the largest telecommunications software company in China, responsible for the company's research and innovation work. Before joining AsiaInfo, he served as the manager of the Communication Artificial Intelligence Systems Department and a Verizon Fellow at Verizon Telecommunications Group, the largest mobile communication operator in the United States. In November 2022, Dr. Ouyang Ye was elected as an IEEE Fellow for his leadership in network intelligence and self-organizing cellular networks. Ouyang Ye has received numerous honors and awards in both industry and academia, including the 2017 Outstanding Asian Engineer Award, the 2023 Forbes Most Influential Global Chinese Elite Award, the 2019 TMForum Global Telecommunications Future Digital Leader Award, the 2021 National Diversified Technology Leader Award, the 2022 Chinese Computer Society CCF Technology Progress First Prize, the 2023 Chinese Automation Society CAA Technology Progress First Prize, the 2023 Chinese Computer Society CCF Technology Progress Second Prize, and the 2021 Wu Wenjun Technology Progress Award, among many other domestic and international awards. Dr. Ouyang has served as the chairman of multiple international standards and academic organizations, including IEEE, ETSI, and other working groups and conferences. He is also the chairman of the Beijing Software Association's Artificial Intelligence Committee and a career development mentor at Stevens Institute of Technology in the United States. Dr. Ouyang Ye has authored over 50 academic papers, more than 160 patents, over 180 international standards, and 13 academic books. Dr. Ouyang holds a bachelor's degree from Southeast University in China, a master's degree from Columbia University in the United States, a master's degree from Tufts University, and a doctoral degree from Stevens Institute of Technology
Dr. Liu Yunxin, Professor Guoqiang, PhD Supervisor, and Chief Researcher of the Intelligent Industry Research Institute at Tsinghua University, serves as the Director of the Joint Research Center between Tsinghua University (Intelligent Industry Research Institute) and AsiaInfo Technology (China) Co., Ltd., as well as the project leader of the National Key R&D Program. He has been selected for the National High level Talent Program. Before joining Tsinghua University, he worked in Microsoft Research Asia for nearly 20 years as a director researcher, responsible for mobile computing, edge computing, heterogeneous computing and other research directions. He has published over 100 academic papers in international academic conferences and journals such as MobiSys, MobiCom, TON, TMC, and holds more than 20 invention patents, including 16 authorized US patents. His research results have been successfully applied to multiple Microsoft products such as Visual Studio and have been widely reported by international media. He has won awards such as MobiSys 2021 Best Paper Award, SenSys 2018 Best Paper Runner up Award, MobiCom 2015 Best Demonstration Award, and 2022 CCF Science and Technology Progress First Prize. He has long served as a member of the program committee for multiple international academic conferences, including MobiSys, MobiCom, SIGCOMM, ATC, WWW, INFOCOM, etc. He is currently or previously the TPC Co Chair of the program committee for MobiSys 2023, the General Co Chair of MobiHoc 2021, an editorial board member for IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing, a part-time doctoral supervisor at the University of Science and Technology of China, and the Vice Chair of ACM SIGBED China
Dr. Ye Xiaozhou, Chief Scientist of AsiaInfo Technology, and Co Director of the "6G Network and Intelligent Computing Joint Research Center" of Tsinghua University Intelligent Industry Research Institute AsiaInfo Technology. Prior to AsiaInfo Technology, he worked in the Institute of Acoustics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences as a researcher, doctoral supervisor, and deputy director of the National Engineering Technology Research Center. I have presided over and undertaken more than 10 national, provincial, and ministerial level projects, including the Strategic Leading Project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the National Science and Technology Major Project, the 863 Program, and the National Science and Technology Support Program. Led the development of 6 ITU 5G international standards, published over 80 academic papers at home and abroad, authorized over 30 invention patents at home and abroad, and received multiple provincial, ministerial, and national level scientific and technological awards
