Recruitment notice for postdoctoral fellows in the field of olefin carbon thermal management fibers, led by Academician Zhang Jin from the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Peking University
The team led by Academician Zhang Jin and Researcher Shao Yuanlong from the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Peking University focuses on the spinning preparation technology of ene carbon fibers, aiming to develop high-performance ene carbon thermal management composite fibers and explore thermal management applications such as rapid thermal conductivity, flame retardancy, insulation, and temperature control in extreme environments. The team is currently recruiting 4-6 postdoctoral fellows in related research fields, and welcomes outstanding doctoral graduates with relevant research backgrounds from home and abroad to join.
1、 Team Introduction
Zhang Jin, an academician of the CAS Member, a liberal chair professor of Peking University, a winner of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, a distinguished professor of Changjiang Scholars of the Ministry of Education, a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry, a candidate of innovative LJ talents in the "Ten Thousand Talents Program" of the Organization Department of the Central Committee, and a project leader of the key research and development program of the Ministry of Science and Technology. Long term commitment to the growth mechanism, characterization techniques, and preparation methods of nanocarbon materials such as carbon nanotubes, published in Nature and Nat Published over 310 papers and obtained over 30 authorized patents in publications such as Mater. He won the second prize of the the State Natural Science Award (two awards), the National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Instructor, the Youth Chemistry Award of the Chinese Chemical Society, the "New Century Excellent Talents Funding Program" of the Ministry of Education, and the "Top Ten" tutors of Peking University. The current Dean of the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Peking University, Dean of the Shenzhen Graduate School at Peking University, Vice Dean of the Beijing Graphene Research Institute, and Deputy Director (concurrently) of the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology.
Shao Yuanlong, a researcher and doctoral supervisor at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Peking University, is the leader of the Graphene Carbon Fiber Materials Research Group at the Beijing Graphene Research Institute. He is also a selected member of the Overseas High level Talent Program, a "Double Innovation Talent" in Jiangsu Province, and a young LJ talent in Gusu. I will be a distinguished professor at the School of Energy, Soochow University from 2019 to 2022. Joined the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Peking University in June 2022. At Nat Published over 80 academic papers in journals such as Rev. Mater., Chem. Rev., Nat. Commun., Adv. Mater., Energy Environment. Sci., with a total of over 10000 citations. Hosted multiple scientific research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Jiangsu Provincial Natural Science Foundation, and Suzhou Key Industry Technology Innovation Project. The research direction mainly focuses on the research of ene carbon smart fibers and wet spinning physical chemistry. Serving as Adv Youth editorial board member for journals such as Fiber Mater, Nano Research Energy, Carbon Research, etc.

2、 Job requirements
post-doctoral
1. Have obtained or will soon obtain doctoral degrees in physics, chemistry, materials science and other engineering disciplines from well-known domestic and foreign universities and research institutes;
2. Priority will be given to those with research experience in polymer physics/chemistry, graphene/carbon nanotube preparation, wet spinning, melt spinning, textile technology, phase change materials, thermal management, and other related fields;
3. Physically and mentally healthy, with good conduct, a strong sense of responsibility, a strong interest and pursuit of innovative research, independent research ability, and a positive and enthusiastic work attitude;
4. Possess excellent teamwork and communication skills, as well as strong communication and writing abilities in both Chinese and English;
5. Meet other requirements for recruiting postdoctoral fellows at Peking University and comply with relevant regulations on postdoctoral management;
6. Postdoctoral fellows must engage in full-time postdoctoral research work after entering the station.
