The School of Environmental Science and Engineering at Tongji University is currently recruiting 2-3 postdoctoral researchers in the field of environmental and energy catalysis. Candidates with relevant research experience in anion exchange membrane electrolysis hydrogen production technology and environmental catalytic chemistry are preferred. The postdoctoral positions recruited will be jointly trained with Professor Lu Xunyu from the University of New South Wales in Australia, and outstanding candidates will receive support from the school enterprise joint fund
Professor Zhang Qingran, a researcher and long-term associate professor at the School of Environmental Science and Engineering, Tongji University, and a supervisor for doctoral and master's students. Mainly engaged in research in the field of environmental and energy catalysis, and explored the industrialization of multiple excellent technological achievements. Dr. graduated from the University of New South Wales in Australia, where he studied under Professor Rose Amal, a recipient of the Queen's Birthday Medal, Chairman of the Australian Hydrogen Council, Director of the International Hydrogen Economy Training Center, Academician of the Third Academy, and Editor in Chief of the Journal Applied Catalysis B: Environmental. In recent years, it has been published in Nature Communications, Published multiple high-level academic papers in international journals such as Advanced Energy Materials, Energy and Environmental Science, Angewandte, ACS nano, and Small, and served as an invited reviewer for journals such as ACS nano, Angewandte, and Applied Catalysis B: Environmental, as well as a young editorial board member for Nano Micro Letters
Professor Lu Xunyu, a tuned associate professor at the School of Chemical Engineering at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Australia, is an internationally renowned expert in functional materials and electrochemistry research. He has been named a world-class TOP scientist by Stanford University for five consecutive years. During this period, he served as the chairman of the first International Conference on Emerging Environmental and Energy Technologies, presided over and participated in multiple research funds such as the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) and the University of New South Wales Excellence Research Program. In recent years, it has been published in Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, Energy and Environmental Science, Angewandte,Journal of the American Chemical Society Published over 100 high-level academic papers in international journals and served as the deputy editor in chief of Battery Energy
1、 Recruitment research direction:
We plan to recruit postdoctoral fellows in the fields of Materials Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Environmental Engineering. The research directions we plan to recruit include:
1. Anion exchange membrane electrolysis hydrogen production technology (including electrocatalysis, membrane electrode, stack, etc.)
2. Electrochemical pollution disposal and resource utilization (including CO2 reduction, oxygen reduction, microbial electrochemistry)
3. Environmental catalysis (advanced oxidation, Fenton like reactions, etc.)
2、 Job description:
1. Can independently conduct research projects, collaborate with relevant schools and enterprises to jointly manage projects related to anion exchange membrane electrolysis hydrogen production technology (material development, equipment testing optimization, etc.); Apply for funds and talent plans according to the needs of the college and individuals
