Job description:
As an important member of the antibody engineering department in the company's R&D center, I participated in and led a team engaged in the development and optimization of new technologies related to antibody expression, genetic engineering modification, quality control, candidate drug drug development, etc. in the research and development of biomacromolecule drugs
1. Participate in and lead the Protein Science Department responsible for the preparation, engineering modification, drug identification, and analysis of proteins/antibodies based on the company's overall strategic plan for large molecule drugs and the latest developments in protein engineering
2. Design and modify antibody drug properties using structural and bioinformatics data to achieve expected biological functions, physicochemical properties, and drug properties
3. Undertaken exploratory research on challenging and innovative pipeline projects such as dual impedance and ADC
4. Ability to undertake multiple project tasks simultaneously, collaborate with relevant departments to optimize resources, and efficiently achieve established goals
5. Leaders establish new technology platforms, such as functional transformation and physicochemical property analysis platforms, to provide high-quality macromolecular drugs for the company's pipelines
6. Collaborate with the tumor biology department and cross functional teams to advance antibody discovery to PCC (identifying preclinical candidate drugs)
7. Coordinate project communication with CMC, process, pharmacology, application, intellectual property and other departments; Responsible for preparing and reviewing patent applications, IND applications, contracts, and other related documents for new drugs
Job requirements:
1. Major: Doctoral or Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Structural Biology, Biophysics, Tumor Biology, or related fields
2. Work experience: More than 4 years of doctoral or 7 years of master's experience in protein science research in biopharmaceutical or CRO companies
3. Have a deep understanding of molecular biology, structural biology, tumor biology, and the development of macromolecular drugs, and be familiar with the process and system of macromolecular drug development
4. Have independent experience in undertaking projects and successfully developing candidate drugs
5. Proficient in dual antibody design and construction, antibody modification, various protein purification methods (Affinity, IEC, SEC), macromolecular analysis methods (CE-SDS, DLS/SEC-MALS, HPLC, DSC, DSF, CD), affinity and binding kinetics detection (ITC, SPR, BLI), fluorescence spectroscopy experiments, various mass spectrometry analysis techniques and methods (LC-MS, native MS, PTM analysis, glycosylation analysis), structural analysis and analysis of biomolecules
6. Familiar with antibody humanization and affinity maturity, drug evaluation, in vivo efficacy, pharmacokinetics, toxicology CMC、 Non clinical research, intellectual property and other technical and data interpretation
7. Familiarize and apply Discovery Studio MOE、 Candidates who use software such as Rosetta and AlphaFold for protein rational design are given priority consideration
8. Possess excellent communication skills, outstanding organizational and coordination abilities, and a spirit of teamwork
