Job Description:
Introduction of the research group
Zhao Yongbing, a researcher and doctoral supervisor, is the leader of the research group. The research group is mainly engaged in the research of deep learning model and gene transcription regulation mechanism. The specific research contents include:
1) Construction and application of deep learning models and development of omics data analysis methods;
2) To analyze the sequence characteristics of genomic regulatory elements, the interaction rules between promoters and enhancers, the cooperation rules between transcription factors, and their effects on gene transcription;
3) Explore cell-specific gene regulatory networks and their molecular mechanisms in cell development, differentiation, and disease development.
In order to achieve these research contents, the research team will adopt multidisciplinary methods and technologies, including deep learning, bioinformatics, genomics, CRISPR gene editing, high-throughput screening, and various sequencing technologies (such as STARR-Seq, Hi-C, ATAC-Seq, ChIP-Seq, RNA-Seq, etc.). The main research achievements of the research team in recent years have been published in journals such as Molecular Cell, Science Advances, and Nucleic Acids Research.

Job requirements:
1) (Postdoctoral candidates) should have or be about to obtain a doctoral degree, in principle, under the age of 35, and have obtained a doctoral degree for no more than three years;
2) In principle, candidates for associate researchers should have at least two years of post-doctoral or equivalent work experience after obtaining a doctoral degree, and excellent candidates should be discussed on a case-by-case basis;
3) Have bioinformatics, deep learning and other related professional background; be familiar with at least one programming language, such as Python/Perl/C + +/Java; and have published SCI papers in related fields as the first author.
4) Strong research enthusiasm and sense of responsibility, good communication and teamwork skills.
Job Responsibilities:
1) Complete research topics and related tasks independently or with assistance.
2) Independently or assist in formulating research plans, writing research papers, and applying for funds and projects.
3) Assist in guiding graduate students and participate in the daily management of the laboratory.
Compensation and benefits:
1) The basic annual salary of postdoctoral students is 300000, and other performance and treatment are negotiable.
2) Associate researchers provide career establishment, and other performance and treatment are negotiable.
3) The postdoctoral personnel will be included in the management of special research assistant posts of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, providing a salary and welfare level equivalent to the vice-senior posts and an international research platform; the outstanding ones can apply for promotion to associate researcher or researcher posts in the future.
