Tianjin CPC Bohai Star Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Bohai Star Company) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Petroleum Group Ocean Engineering Co., Ltd. (referred to as Ocean Engineering Company, abbreviated as CPOE), a state-owned enterprise mainly engaged in research and development of cementing technology and drilling fluid technology, manufacturing, sales and application services of oil well cement additives and drilling fluid treatment agents, offshore cementing engineering operation services, as well as technical services and consulting. It is a high-tech enterprise recognized by the Tianjin Science and Technology Commission as integrating scientific and technological research and development, process design, product manufacturing, technical services and engineering services. Since 1979, we have been dedicated to the research and development of cementing technology, and are the earliest professional unit in China engaged in the research of oil well cement additives. After more than 40 years of effort, we have formed industry technological advantages in the research and application of oil well cement additives, mainly providing cementing technical support and services for major projects and key projects in onshore and offshore oil and gas exploration and development at home and abroad, as well as offshore cementing construction operations. The well cementing technology research laboratory (institute) is a branch of the Key Laboratory of Drilling Engineering of China National Petroleum Corporation and the National Engineering Laboratory of Oil and Gas Drilling Technology. It has high research and development conditions, scientific research equipment, and research strength and level. After more than a decade of development, drilling fluid technology has developed strong capabilities in technology research and application, mainly providing technical support and services for the exploration and development of offshore oil and gas fields by China Petroleum. In March 2022, Bohai Star Company was successfully selected as one of the seven selected enterprises by China National Petroleum Corporation in the latest list of "Science and Technology Reform Demonstration Enterprises" announced by the State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council
The parent company CPOE is a strategic deployment of China National Petroleum Corporation to accelerate the exploration and development of offshore oil and gas resources and continuously promote professional restructuring. It was established in 2004 as an offshore oil engineering technology service company and is a national high-tech enterprise headquartered in Beijing. As a technology service enterprise engaged in offshore oil engineering by China National Petroleum Corporation, our business scope covers three major areas: offshore drilling and completion, offshore engineering, and technical services. We have Class A qualifications in marine oil engineering design, drilling engineering design, marine oil engineering general contracting, anti-corrosion and insulation engineering contracting, petroleum and natural gas, construction engineering consulting, port operation license, pressure pipeline and pressure vessel design, and other professional qualifications. In 2020, the postdoctoral research station of Tianjin CPC Bohai Star Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. was established with the approval of the Tianjin Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security. Research content, expected goals, research level, and market prospects of professional technical research direction
Research on the pollution mechanism and anti pollution technology of cementing working fluid system During cementing construction, the mixing and pollution of drilling fluid and cement slurry can easily lead to flocculation, and in severe cases, the cement slurry may lose its fluidity in a short period of time, causing cementing engineering accidents. This project aims to investigate the pollution mechanism of different types of water-based drilling fluids on isolation fluids and cement slurries by their components. Through molecular structure design and preparation technology, special polymers or other high-efficiency anti pollution materials will be developed to form a drilling fluid pollution-free treatment technology or high-efficiency anti pollution isolation fluid system, which meets the environmental protection requirements of on-site isolation fluids not falling to the ground, and the overall technology will reach the international advanced level
The research on intelligent plugging material technology has always been a global challenge for oil and gas drilling projects both domestically and internationally. Wellbore leakage can occur during drilling, as well as during or after cementing operations. This project plans to carry out simulation analysis and research on the leakage process according to the characteristics of different types of leakage in the process of drilling or cementing, develop special plugging materials such as polymer gel that have response characteristics to the temperature or pressure changes of the downhole formation leakage parts, effectively solve the leakage problem in the process of drilling or cementing, and the product performance indicators reach the international advanced level
Research on High Temperature and Ultra High Temperature Oil Well Cement Additives With the increasing number of ultra deep wells over 8000m, the demand for high temperature and ultra high temperature cementing oil well cement additives is growing, and the requirements are also increasing. Under ultra-high temperature conditions (180-260 ℃), commonly used additives such as water loss agents, retarders, suspensions, etc. (mostly water-soluble synthetic organic polymer materials) may experience performance degradation or even failure due to high-temperature thermal dilution or degradation, leading to a deterioration in the overall performance of the cement slurry and affecting the quality of well cementing. This project mainly focuses on the problem of ultra deep well cementing. Through molecular structure design, the high-temperature resistance of additive materials is improved, and high-performance high-temperature resistant and ultra high temperature oil well cement additive products are developed, forming an ultra deep well cementing cement slurry system with performance indicators reaching the international advanced level
Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) is one of the key technologies for addressing global climate change. CCUS industrial demonstration projects are gradually increasing and developing rapidly. The geological storage of CO2 and its use for oil recovery is currently the only commercially viable and economically effective method, which has attracted attention from oil and gas companies around the world. During this process, there is a significant risk of CO2 leakage due to the corrosion of barriers such as cement sheath by CO2 or the damage of cement sheath during CO2 utilization. To address this issue, a key anti-corrosion cement material has been developed that can prevent long-term CO2 corrosion and automatically heal when the cement sheath is damaged by CO2. This ensures the long-term storage and utilization of CO2, providing technical support for promoting the achievement of the "dual carbon" goal
