Job Description:
Job Responsibilities:
-Working closely with scientists from all solid state batteries, fuel cells, and other energy storage and conversion teams, we engage in long-term pioneering basic research and short-term application technology research, serving multiple business departments of Midea.
-Responsible for the design and development of groundbreaking all solid state battery materials and devices, as well as the development of corresponding process technologies. Research and develop all solid state battery technology, including new materials, new processes, new equipment, etc., to continuously improve the performance and safety of batteries.
-Develop characterization techniques for fundamental research on all solid state battery materials, devices, and processes. Responsible for battery testing and validation, developing testing plans and standards, analyzing test results, and ensuring that battery performance meets design requirements
-Specific experimental work is required for material preparation and evaluation, device manufacturing, and process development. Design and optimize the structure and manufacturing process of batteries to improve their energy density, power density, and cycle life.
-Write and submit technical reports to Midea and external organizations.
-Conceptualize, write, and submit research plans and project proposals to Midea's internal and external agencies and partners.
-Establish and maintain a technology cooperation network with universities and external partners.
Qualifications for the position:
Doctoral degrees in physics, materials physics, materials chemistry, electrochemistry, and related fields.
-More than 6 years of experience in battery material design/synthesis/characterization, as well as battery device design/manufacturing/characterization. Experience in working with all solid state batteries is preferred, with relevant research experience in all solid state batteries and familiarity with battery materials, battery structures, battery manufacturing processes, and other related knowledge.
-Having a solid theoretical foundation in material physics and chemistry, as well as surface and interface science related to batteries with a good track record of performance, proficient in theoretical knowledge in areas such as electrochemical analysis, physical chemistry, and material chemistry.
-Skills with a good track record, including battery material/device development, characterization, and application.
-Strong interaction and communication skills, adaptable to multi responsibility teams, able to establish and maintain customer relationships, with experience in team management and project management, able to lead teams to complete project development tasks.
