Researcher Hu Zhanli is the Deputy Director of the Department of Mathematics and Physics of the National Key Laboratory of Medical Imaging Science and Technology System, the Deputy Director of the Joint Laboratory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Hong Kong, the Deputy Director of the 61 Medical Artificial Intelligence Research Center of the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, a researcher, doctoral supervisor, young talents of the National Natural Science Foundation (2020), the Chief Scientist of the Key Research and Development Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology (2023), the Director of the Key Research and Development Program of the National Natural Science Foundation (2023), the Director of the Key Strategic Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Program of the Key Research and Development Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology (2024). His research fields are medical PET/MR and PET/CT imaging, and. The team focuses on ecological collaboration in the upstream and downstream of medical imaging, and has conducted in-depth scientific research cooperation with leading high-end medical device enterprises and dozens of top tier hospitals across the country, aiming to solve practical problems in the medical industry and clinical medicine.
Since April 2008, Researcher Hu Zhanli has been working in Shenzhen Advanced Technology Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Among them, he obtained his doctoral degree in 2014 (under the guidance of Academician Zheng Hairong), and was promoted to associate researcher and researcher in 2016 and 2020, respectively. Selected for the top 2% of global scientists list released by Stanford University in 2024, and awarded the Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Technology Invention Award (2023), China Society of Image and Graphics Technology Invention Award (2023), China Industry University Research Cooperation Innovation Award (2023), and China Society of Stereology Youth Science and Technology Award (2022) as the main contributor. To communicate/work in EJNMMI, More than 100 SCI papers have been published in authoritative journals in this field, including European Radiology, EJR, IEEE TMI/JBHI/TBME/TCI/TRPMS, Medical Physics, PMB, etc. The technology has been transferred to leading high-end medical device enterprises and implemented in domestic PET products, generating good economic and social benefits. I have successively presided over two projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation for Outstanding Young Scholars (Excellent Conclusion), the Mathematics Tianyuan Key Project, and the General Project; The Key Research and Development Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology focuses on the research and development of major scientific instruments and equipment, and the Key Research and Development Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology focuses on strategic scientific and technological innovation cooperation. The project has accumulated a total budget of over 50 million yuan, and the team currently has more than 30 assistant researchers, postdoctoral fellows, research assistants, doctoral and master's students.

The Medical Artificial Intelligence Research Center was established in May 2018, guided by clinical needs and drawing on the forefront of artificial intelligence development. It focuses on the full chain intelligent research from medical imaging to image processing and analysis, to auxiliary diagnosis, prognosis, and health management, serving the upgrade of traditional medicine to intelligent medicine, meeting the needs of the medical and health industry and the health needs of the general public. The professional fields include artificial intelligence, machine learning, biomedical imaging, medical image analysis and processing, radiomics and genomics, computer-aided diagnosis, etc.
