Project leader: Professor Li Zigang, PhD, University of Chicago, Dean, School of Chemistry and Biology, Shenzhen Graduate School, Peking University. His professional background is polypeptide synthesis and modification, and his research features are the structural optimization and molecular library construction of "stapler" polypeptides. He has accumulated profound research on the structure-activity relationship of lead compounds of polypeptide drugs. He is the technical core of several polypeptide cooperation projects, and is mainly engaged in protein engineering, organic synthesis, human disease treatment methods, organometallic chemistry and other fields. The application research direction of the team has many years of experience in stable polypeptide design and biological application transformation, featuring the development of chemical methods for novel stable polypeptides and biomedical application research._x000D_
Dr. Yin Feng, Head of the Research Group, Director of Biological Research Department and Cooperation Department of Pingshan Biomedical Research and Transformation Center, Shenzhen Bay Laboratory. He has been engaged in the application research of chemical biology and biomedicine of novel stable polypeptides for a long time and expanding the biomedical application of novel stable polypeptides. As a project leader, he has presided over five projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Post-doctoral Foundation and the Shenzhen Free Exploration Foundation, and participated in more than 10 national and provincial projects as a core member of the team.
