Professor Zhu Guangyu’s team at the Biomedical Technology Center of City University of Hong Kong Shenzhen Research Institute is recruiting 2 postdoctoral fellows. The research direction of the research group is the mechanism and development of new anti-cancer drugs, using nano drug carriers to enhance the biological activity of anti-cancer drugs, as well as chemical biology. They have mastered a unique set of research techniques in the synthesis and mechanism of action of platinum based anti-cancer drugs, and have successively worked in Nat Published multiple papers in international journals such as Catal., Chem., PNAS, JACS, Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Cancer Res., Chem. Sci., Chem. Mater.
Due to the further development needs of the research group, we are now recruiting postdoctoral researchers to engage in the synthesis and in vitro/in vivo activity mechanism research of new anti-tumor small molecule drugs and nanomedicines in our laboratory in Shenzhen, and have the opportunity to conduct further research in our laboratory in Hong Kong. Job description.
（1） Complete the relevant scientific research tasks and laboratory management assigned by the collaborating supervisor;
（2） Independently conduct research projects, read English literature and write English papers;
（3） The postdoctoral work period at the station is generally two years. Depending on the project situation and performance during the station, it can be renewed and transferred to work at the Hong Kong campus.
Job requirements.
（1）With a doctoral degree obtained within 3 years.
（2） Has strong research and innovation abilities and team collaboration spirit.
（3） The job requirements include having good academic ethics and a rigorous scientific attitude, being physically healthy, and being competent for the position.
（4） Having a background in chemistry, pharmacy, biology, materials science, medicine and other related disciplines, and publishing high-level academic papers as the first author in well-known journals.
Term of employment benefits.
The comprehensive annual salary for postdoctoral fellows at the Chengdu University Shenzhen Research Institute shall not be less than 300000 yuan.
1. The province and city will provide an annual living allowance of 180000 yuan to eligible postdoctoral fellows, with a total amount not exceeding 360000 yuan.
2. The Shenzhen Research Institute offers a comprehensive annual salary of around 120000 yuan.
3. The research team will award performance bonuses based on project and paper performance.
4. Shenzhen City provides a subsidy of 300000 yuan for postdoctoral fellows who leave the station to work in Shenzhen.
5. Outstanding overseas PhDs can apply for the Guangdong Province Overseas Postdoctoral Program (with a comprehensive annual salary starting from 420000 yuan) during their stay.
6. Postdoctoral fellows can apply for research project funding at all levels as responsible persons during their tenure at the station.
7. The treatment for exceptionally outstanding individuals is negotiable.
