Job description :
Job Responsibilities.
1. Responsible for tracking domestic and international laws, regulations, certifications, and standard requirements related to the safety and fire protection of electrochemical energy storage power plants;
2. Responsible for the research and design of the safety system for electrochemical energy storage power plants, completing safety and fire protection design plans to meet regulatory and certification requirements, and continuously researching solutions to ensure system safety;
3. Responsible for the design of energy storage system security architecture, safety oriented failure and its impact analysis, non diffusion scheme for battery thermal runaway, energy storage system fire suppression technology, and fire protection system design scheme. Collaborate with system designers to implement various security schemes in the product;
4. Responsible for post analysis and investigation related to safety and fire safety.
Qualifications for the position.
1. Master’s degree or above, majoring in electrochemistry, fire safety and firefighting, chemical engineering, safety systems engineering, or related fields;
2. More than 3 years of experience in the design and development of lithium battery system safety (including fire protection) related to electric vehicles or energy storage power stations;
3. Familiar with the thermal hazards of lithium-ion batteries and the propagation mechanism of thermal explosion hazards in battery systems;
4. There are systematic solutions to complex safety issues such as thermal runaway blocking of lithium batteries, from individual cells to packs and then to system levels, electrical high voltage, and flammable gases;
5. Familiar with the characteristics and structural design calculations of insulation panels, explosion-proof panels, and other related materials, and collaborate with structural and thermal management designers to implement safety design into products;
6. Familiar with various safety and fire regulations, able to identify safety issues in various aspects of the system and design countermeasures.
