Zhejiang Province University Liangzhu Laboratory’s Wang Yongcheng team is recruiting postdoctoral fellows and specially appointed researchers
1、 Introduction to the research group
Wang Yongcheng, Ph.D. in Chemistry and Biochemistry from Harvard University, Researcher and Doctoral Supervisor at Liangzhu Laboratory, Zhejiang Province University, and Double Hired Researcher at the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang Province University School of Medicine. Selected as one of the “35 Under 35 Science and Technology Innovators” by MIT Technology Review in China in 22, one of the “100 Young Returnees Elite” by Forbes China in 23, and one of the “Ten Thousand Talents Plan” young top talents in Zhejiang Province Province. As the person in charge, I am leading three million dollar funding projects, including the Hangzhou “West Lake Pearl Project” Top Talent Cultivation Project, Zhejiang Province Province Leading Innovation Team, and Zhejiang Province Province Leading R&D Project. M20 Genomics, a single-cell sequencing technology company founded through achievement transformation, has received investment from top investment institutions such as Qiming Venture Capital and Sequoia China. It has been selected as the “23 Technology Pioneer” by the World Economic Forum and the most socially influential startup company in China by Fortune in 23.
The research group is mainly engaged in the development, application, and transformation of new biomedical technologies. In 23, they published six papers as corresponding authors in journals such as Nature Communications (X2). We have developed a new generation of high-throughput single-cell whole RNA sequencing platform based on random primers, which is suitable for cryopreservation and FFPE samples with poor activity, and can detect full-length single-cell RNA sequences and non coding RNA, promoting the clinical application of single-cell sequencing technology. More importantly, the platform has achieved single-cell sequencing of microorganisms, providing new tools for studying bacterial resistance, microbiome, and bacterial host interactions.
The research group mainly relies on Liangzhu Laboratory, Zhejiang Province University Medical Center, and the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang Province University School of Medicine. We are now recruiting postdoctoral fellows in biomedical, bioinformatics, microbiology, synthetic biology, chemical materials, and microfluidics. 2、 Postdoctoral position requirements
1. Recently obtained doctoral degrees in biomedical, bioinformatics, microbiology, synthetic biology, chemical materials, or engineering related fields. Applicants with interdisciplinary backgrounds are welcome;

2. Published innovative research papers or other innovative achievements.
3、 Postdoctoral salary and benefits
1. According to the regulations on postdoctoral management, provide competitive benefits (including a subsidy of over 350000 yuan per year for fresh doctoral graduates, and one person can negotiate for outstanding candidates);
2. Provide corresponding rewards for publishing papers and transforming achievements;
3. Eligible individuals can apply for a monthly rental subsidy of 2500 yuan.
