1、 Unit Introduction
The Shenzhen Planning and Natural Resources Data Management Center is a directly affiliated institution of the Shenzhen Planning and Natural Resources Bureau. It was established in December 21 through the integration of the former Shenzhen Planning Land and Real Estate Information Center and the former Shenzhen Digital City Engineering Research Center, with the addition of the “Shenzhen Spatial Geographic Information Center” brand. Mainly responsible for the informationization construction, data resource management, archive technology support, and overall management and application services of satellite remote sensing image data in the field of planning and natural resources in Shenzhen. Responsible for the construction and operation of Shenzhen’s spatial geographic information basic services, Shenzhen’s city wide spatiotemporal information platform, “multi regulation integration” information platform, and the Key Laboratory of Urban Land and Resources Monitoring and Simulation of the Ministry of Natural Resources. The Postdoctoral Innovation Practice Base of Shenzhen Planning and Natural Resources Data Management Center was first established in December 2016 with the approval of Shenzhen Human Resources and Social Security Bureau. The Data Management Center initiated the establishment of a joint training base for postdoctoral innovation practice with well-known universities, jointly recruiting and training postdoctoral personnel.
The Data Management Center is committed to serving the informationization work in the fields of planning and natural resources. It has independently developed an e-government basic platform and a planning, land, real estate, and marine business management and application information system. It has won one second prize for national scientific and technological progress, more than 50 awards and honors at or above the provincial and ministerial levels, and owns more than 30 software copyrights. It has been recognized as a demonstration unit for multiple work by national ministries, provinces, and cities, and has become a model in the same industry nationwide. Among them, the digital Shenzhen spatial basic information platform constructed by the center, as one of the three major basic information platforms of “Digital Shenzhen”, provides important basic support for accelerating urban informatization and comprehensively building smart cities. The data management center currently has nearly 300 employees (including 1 person who enjoys special allowances from the State Council and provincial and municipal governments, more than 40 senior competent personnel, and more than 100 people with master’s degrees or above), with rich city wide geographic information data, planning land and real estate information data, and historical archives, and superior scientific research environment and data and technical conditions.
2、 Postdoctoral research topic direction
1. Land and resources data fusion and spatiotemporal big data direction;
2. Analysis and research on intelligent management and control of land and resources assets;
3. Land and resource perception and spatial optimization direction;
4. The direction of three-dimensional cadastral and three-dimensional land use;
5. Other related topics are also possible.
3、 Recruitment criteria for postdoctoral researchers
1. Dedicated to research in the fields of planning and natural resources such as smart cities, urban planning, and land resource management, with professional backgrounds in cartography, geographic information, remote sensing, urban planning, land resource management, cartography and geographic information systems, computer science, software engineering, marine science, and more;
2. Non working doctoral students who have obtained doctoral degrees domestically and internationally in the past three years;
3. Strong research ability and professional dedication, able to fulfill postdoctoral research work with due diligence and responsibility;
4. Having the qualifications to work full-time as a postdoctoral fellow at this postdoctoral innovation practice base;
5. Having healthy physical conditions for engaging in normal scientific research work.

5、 Related benefits
1. The Data Management Center provides an annual salary of 320000-380000 yuan for postdoctoral talents in the station (including an annual living allowance of 180000 yuan provided by the Shenzhen Municipal Government to each postdoctoral personnel in the station).
2. Postdoctoral fellows can apply for unit turnover housing during their tenure at the station.
3. Postdoctoral fellows will be deeply involved in the key laboratory business of the Data Management Center. Based on application needs and their own strengths, the center, supervisor, and I will jointly determine specific research directions and topics. Postdoctoral fellows with outstanding research results and outstanding performance can be given priority consideration or recommended to work in the Data Management Center after leaving the station.
4. According to the policies of Shenzhen regarding postdoctoral fellows, the postdoctoral fellows themselves can settle in Shenzhen.
5. Postdoctoral fellows who sign contracts with enterprises and institutions in Shenzhen for more than 3 years after leaving the station can receive a research funding of 300000 yuan from the Shenzhen Municipal Government in accordance with regulations.
6. Postdoctoral fellows who have been engaged in scientific research work in Shenzhen for at least 3 years can apply for recognition as reserve talents in Shenzhen. If recognized, they can enjoy preferential policies such as housing and academic training allowances.
6、 Registration method and process
