The Shenzhen Academy of Urban Planning and Urban Rural Development has been approved to establish innovative platforms such as the Guangdong Provincial Academician Expert (Enterprise) Workstation, Guangdong Provincial Digital City Planning and Spatial Configuration Engineering Technology Research Center, Shenzhen Academician (Expert) Workstation, and Municipal Postdoctoral Innovation Practice Base, laying a solid foundation for the cultivation of high-end talents and research on innovative topics.
The Postdoctoral Innovation Practice Base of Shenzhen Institute of Urban Planning focuses on major issues facing China’s urban construction and development, with a focus on forward-looking, strategic, and practical topics, emphasizing the combination of theoretical analysis and practical application. This base will rely on the first-hand practical experience accumulated by the Shenzhen Institute of Planning and Design for many years, establish a joint guidance system with well-known universities, fully leverage the advantages of the Institute in field research, data resources, and external cooperation, and provide a good foundation for postdoctoral researchers to carry out major practical research projects and promote the application of their results.
Due to the needs of scientific research work, our base plans to recruit postdoctoral staff from home and abroad, with the following key research directions.
1. Complex urban systems and urban governance
2. Deep creation and design governance of urban design
3. Coordination of stock development policies and institutional design
4. Collaborative development of urban agglomerations and metropolitan areas
5. National spatial planning and ecological restoration
6. Construction and governance of super large livable cities
7. Rainwater management and urban runoff pollution control
8. Research on Resilient and Healthy Safe Cities
9. Comprehensive decision-making for smart cities
10. Ecology, ecological restoration, ecological monitoring
Qualifications for the position.
1. Possess a doctoral degree and graduated within two years, with excellent academic performance;
2. Possess good teamwork spirit, communication and coordination skills, and organizational abilities;
3. Applicants must ensure that they engage in full-time postdoctoral research after being hired, without hanging up or taking part-time positions.
