The business development manager is the window for the company to face customers. When a new customer has a large molecule related CDRMO service demand, the first person they come into contact with is the Business Development Manager. His/her main job responsibilities include responding to the new customer’s “demand proposal”, writing the proposal, and bidding; Expand new customers; Maintain existing customer relationships and explore more business opportunities.
Job Responsibilities.
1. Search for and contact potential customers, establish positive interactive relationships, and arrange meetings;
2. Manage customer relationships with the aim of establishing long-term partnerships with customers;
3. Gain a deep understanding and analysis of potential or existing customer business and needs, understand the customer’s internal decision-making chain, in order to discover and lock in new opportunities;
4. Explore more needs from existing customers to increase sales, while also developing new customers;
5. Develop new service product combinations or business cooperation methods to improve sales performance;
6. Develop a service plan;
7. Plan and develop new marketing activities;
8. Cooperate and participate in the development of the team and the formulation of business growth goals, and ensure the achievement of these goals;
Qualifications for the position.
1. Hold a master’s degree or above in biology, pharmacy, pharmacology, toxicology, chemical engineering or related majors;
2. Priority should be given to those with work experience in multinational corporations or those who have studied or worked abroad;
3. Have 3-5 years or more of experience in biopharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, CDMO research and development, process development, or 5-10 years of sales and marketing work experience;
4. Have good communication skills and business negotiation skills;
5. Ability to manage complex projects and multiple tasks;
6. Excellent organizational skills;
7. Be proactive and respond to various uncertainties;
8. High professional ethics (respect for others, honesty, trustworthiness, helpfulness, clear organization) and courage to take responsibility;
Proficient in using office software such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc;
10. English can be used as a working language and spoken fluently.
