Job description.
1. Responsible for product failure analysis, including physical and chemical analysis, and conducting cross departmental discussions with engineering and technical departments to confirm the cause of failure, and writing failure analysis reports.
2. Develop failure analysis methods and establish a failure analysis process based on the characteristics of materials and potential failure modes.
3. Develop an analysis plan, execute and carefully record the work details during the failure analysis process, in order to facilitate later data analysis and maintain information traceability.
4. Communication, collaboration, and outsourcing progress management in external laboratories.
Job requirements.
1. Doctoral degree (available for graduates of the 24th cohort), majoring in materials physics and chemistry, chemical analysis, or other chemical related majors;
2. Master the common sample preparation methods in failure analysis.
3. Have a deep understanding of semiconductor materials such as silicon, silicon carbide, and ceramic compounds.
4. Understand material analysis methods, such as FTIR, SEM, TEM, FIB, GDMS, SIMS, etc., as well as other equipment or instruments that characterize material characteristics, such as hardness testers, film thickness meters, surface roughness meters, surface trace element analysis, etc.
5. Have a spirit of research on problems, actively search and query solutions to related issues, and conduct experimental exploration.
6. Good English reading and writing skills.
