Job description :
Introduction to Chen Wanze Laboratory:
The main research direction of the laboratory is dedicated to exploring the mechanisms of cell fate determination, including processes such as cell proliferation, differentiation, aging, and death. Understanding these mechanisms is crucial for developmental biology and disease research. The pioneering work in the laboratory, especially in the field of live cell sequencing technology, Have enabled single-cell transcriptome analysis while maintaining cell viability – which is currently one of the few technological means that can continuously observe single-cell transcriptome.
The interdisciplinary research methods in the laboratory focus on the development and application of new technologies, providing a unique perspective for studying and manipulating cell fate, and have potential therapeutic strategy significance. The current research topics include:
1. Single cell transcriptome assisted cell fate programming and reprogramming: revealing the genetic and environmental factors driving cell fate transitions.
2. High throughput microenvironment promotes in vitro expansion of hematopoietic stem cells: creating an artificial environment that supports large-scale in vitro expansion of stem cells.
3. Microfluidic and high-throughput screening techniques for cell fate research: Developing new tools to accurately analyze and influence cell fate.
4. Large scale single-cell transcriptome data analysis based on new technologies: mining the massive and unique data generated by innovative laboratory technologies to discover new biological insights.
