Job description :
Job Responsibilities.
1. Work closely with interdisciplinary teams of research scientists to conduct research on projects such as sodium ion batteries, all solid state batteries, fuel cells, etc., including long-term and exploratory research, applied research and development, serving multiple business areas of Midea Group.
2. Lead the development of materials and processes for sodium ion batteries and all solid state batteries.
3. Responsible for developing innovative battery materials/devices for energy storage and conversion, as well as energy materials/devices and their processes, such as sodium ion batteries, lithium-ion batteries, all solid state batteries, and fuel cells.
4. Participate in experimental research to gain a deeper understanding of material/device performance and processes.
5. Plan, write and report research plans and proposals to Midea Group’s internal and external agencies and partners.
6. Responsible for material preparation and evaluation, device manufacturing, and process development.
7. Establish and maintain a technology cooperation network, including universities and external partners.
Qualifications for the position.
1. Doctoral degrees in physics, materials physics, materials chemistry, materials engineering, physical chemistry, and related disciplines.
2. More than 5 years of experience in battery material research, battery manufacturing, and device/material testing and analysis. Experience in manufacturing and characterizing sodium ion batteries, lithium-ion batteries, and all solid state batteries is preferred.
3. Familiar with materials physics, materials science, and surface/interface chemistry knowledge. Experience in the synthesis and process of electrolytes, anode materials, and cathode materials is preferred. Experience in the manufacturing and characterization of sodium ion batteries, lithium-ion batteries, and all solid state batteries is preferred.
4. Master advanced theories, application technologies, and material characterization techniques for battery materials/devices.
5. Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent teamwork abilities, and the ability to establish and maintain good customer relationships.
6. Possess excellent problem-solving skills, able to analyze problems from a global perspective, identify opportunities, and implement significant changes.
7. Self motivation, independent thinking, and proactive problem-solving.
