Activity Introduction
In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress, accelerate the construction of a talent highland in Guangming District, Shenzhen, and gather urgently needed and scarce talents for the construction of Guangming Science City, the Organization Department of the Guangming District Committee of the Communist Party of China plans to hold the “Recruitment Order” for urgently needed and scarce talents in Guangming Science City and the second “Ten Thousand Doctors Gather in Guangming” event from December 16 to 18, 2022. We sincerely invite doctoral talents and urgently needed talents to come to Guangming for exchange, learning, employment and entrepreneurship. Since its fourth anniversary, Guangming District has seized the once-in-a-lifetime historical opportunity, worked tirelessly day and night with the spirit of “living up to its youth”, and moved forward with the goal of anchoring a world-class science city and the northern center of Shenzhen. With the construction of the comprehensive national science center in the Greater Bay Area as the overall driving force, it strives to become the first “charge boat” representing Shenzhen in future technological competition, and focuses on building a “source of original innovation, a leading place for scientific research and economic development, and a gathering place for innovative talents”. Nowadays, the 99 square kilometer Guangming Science City has concentrated 23 major scientific and technological innovation carriers, including 9 large scientific facilities, 10 cutting-edge cross research platforms, 2 Guangdong provincial laboratories, and 2 research-oriented universities. The “magnetic attraction effect” of Guangming Science City is constantly strengthening and accelerating its development into an important national strategic scientific and technological force.

1. In terms of education
From 2018 to 2021, Guangming District will renovate and expand 21 schools, adding 39630 public primary and secondary school places, with an average of nearly 10000 new places added each year. From 2022 to 22025, nearly 40000 new primary and secondary school places will be added. In recent years, Guangming District has focused on improving the level of education, creating an educational highland, and has introduced 11 well-known universities, research institutions, and prestigious schools such as Sun Yat sen University, Southern University of Science and Technology, Shenzhen University, and Shenzhen Middle School. Among them, seven high-quality cooperative education projects, including Sun Yat sen University Shenzhen Affiliated School and Shenzhen Experimental Bright School, have been implemented.
2. Medical aspects
This year, both the Seventh Affiliated Hospital of Zhongda University and the Shenzhen Hospital of University of Science and Technology of China passed the on-site evaluation of the top three. The second phase of Zhongda Affiliated Seventh Hospital and the new campus of University of Science and Technology of China Shenzhen Hospital have started construction. The first phase of Guangming Campus of Shenzhen Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital is expected to be completed by the end of the year. The Guangming Maternal and Child Health Hospital project is steadily advancing, and the construction of Guangming International Traditional Chinese Medicine Port is accelerating. After the completion of all medical and health projects in Guangming District, the total number of beds in the district will reach 10700, with 7.64 beds per thousand people. Without leaving Guangming, residents can enjoy high-quality medical services at their doorstep. 3. Transportation aspect
In 2020, the completion and opening of Metro Line 6 marked Guangming’s official entry into the subway era; In 2021, the Gan Shen high-speed railway was completed and opened to traffic. In the future, Guangming will be one of the areas with the most dense layout of Shenzhen Metro express lines. Line 6 and the under construction Line 13, together with Guangming City high-speed railway station, will build a comprehensive transportation system with internal and external connections. 4. In terms of literary style
At Guangming Culture and Arts Center, high-quality plays, musicals, and dance dramas can be enjoyed throughout the year. Guangming District also focuses on the construction of a vibrant area, launching branded events such as equestrian, rowing, tennis, and mountain biking, providing international cultural and sports services right at your doorstep. 5. Residential aspect
Guangming is the largest supply and construction area for talent guarantee housing in Shenzhen. As of the end of the 13th Five Year Plan period, more than 34600 sets of public housing have been built and raised, and about 14000 sets of various types of public housing have been completed. The basic housing guarantee rate is close to 100%. During the 14th Five Year Plan period, Guangming District is expected to start construction and raise 40000 sets of public housing, build 32000 sets of new public housing, and supply 3.6 million square meters of new commercial housing. 6. Ecological aspect
Here, surrounded by mountains and water, it is one of the first eight green ecological demonstration urban areas in China. The landscape of mountains, waters, fields, forests, and lakes is magnificent, accounting for 59% of the total land area. 15 rivers pass through the city, with a forest coverage rate of 27.28%. The area within the ecological control line accounts for 53% of the total land area, and the area of basic farmland accounts for 44% of Shenzhen. There are 279 parks scattered all over the city… Guangming is accelerating the promotion of the “Mountain Water Connection Plan”, which will connect Dadingling, Qilin Mountain, Maozhou River, Guangming Lake and other areas to achieve a comprehensive landscape.
